Red Carpet Watch: Serena Williams
![]() |
| She isn't letting her recovery stop her "fashions." Luv it! |
![]() |
| Sleek and simple...her best yet. |
Can you say "UPGRADE?!" Thank you to whomever pulled Serena to the side and finally got her on the right page. I know she is a Hairnista that loves her brown and blonde tones, but I love, love the dark hair on her. She looks wonderful on the red carpet of the opening of the Louis Vuitton Santa Monica store.
Want this look? Well I'm going to say that I'm pretty sure this is a sew-in with the "go-to" hair for Black Hollywood (and me lol), Virgin Indian Hair in Natural Wave. You can recreate this look with 8 ounces of the wavy hair...4oz of 16" and 4oz of 18". Getting two different lengths are great because they give you a naturally layered look without having to cut too much of the hair when styling.
If you don't want the commitment of a sew-in you can also re-create this look with clip-ins. A 7pc set in 18" will recreate this look flawlessly.
I'm wet-bunning for the next week or so, but I can't wait to get my hair flat-ironed so that I can pop in my clip-ins and rock this fab look. Well done Serena!

No Ma'am! - Keri Hilson
Keri, Keri, Keri...there's not much more I can say. Is it a wig, weave, quickweave? I don't know what it is but I do know that she is too pretty of a girl for that mess on her head. These are promo pics for her upcoming album...if this is the style direction I'm really disappointed.
On the upside I do plan on picking up the 3-finger ring she's wearing :)

Bronner Brothers Mid Summer Hair Show: Hairnista Recap
I've been swamped but wanted to give you all a quick recap of my fun weekend at Bronner Brothers!
What a weekend! Weaves, wigs, and all the flat irons a girl could want :) The Bronner Brother's August hair show did not disappoint. Your fave Hairnista had the pleasure of representing Creme of Nature's new Argan Oil line at the show this year. My day started very early in hair and makeup. The glam squad CON pulled together for us was stellar. Nate' from Salon It was the first time that the public was able to see all of the new products...and the crowd couldn't get enough. Women (and men) couldn't wait to get their hands on the samples of the Gloss and Shine Mist and the Polisher. One always immediately thinks of women for these products, but there was a good response from barbers and men with locs that were looking for a moisturizing product that didn't smell too "girly."
My fellow models Dawn Montgomery and Spring Cordoba are also part of the campaign and were an absolute joy to work with. Beautiful girls inside and out! Our glam squad for the day was Nate' Robinson on hair, Joe Stuckey and Regina on wardrobe, and Toni Acey "aced" our faces. All in all it was a great experience and a privilege to represent a great brand with equally wonderful people.

Wigging Out: Lady Gaga for Vanity Fair
Pop music's chameleon reinvents her self once again...
I must say that I like this softer look for Lady Gaga. You can't always be rough edges and machine guns :) Once again utilizing an amazing wig (a lacefront I presume), Gaga's locks are a super silver hue...accented by an amazing nail color. With the pared down look she sported in the "Alejandro" video, is this the new kinder gentler Gaga? I guess only time will tell.
