Raising the "Bar"- Afroveda Carrot Ginger Shampoo Bar

I'm always one to try something new, and after hearing rumblings about a shampoo "bar," my curiosity got the best of me. Having only ever used a liquid shampoo, I wondered how a shampoo bar would actually work. But then being the common-sense Hairnista that I am, I figured if you can wash your body with a bar of soap then why not your scalp and hair? I've heard great things about Afroveda's Carrot Ginger Shampoo Bar so i decided to give it a go. After I used the bar, my scalp felt great. There was no build-up and my hair felt moisturized and clean, not stripped how regular shampoo usually makes it feel. So Hairnistas this is a definite addition to my stash and for only $7 you cannot beat the price or quality.

I live in a very Dominican neighborhood and in the grocery stores and pharmacies I have noticed a lot of shampoo bars.Alsoe in the Chinese groceries it seems like they only use bars to do laundry which seems very manual! But my favorite soap bar is this Dominican soap called Miel which means honey. It's 50cents and the only ingredients are honey and glycerin. Seriously it is amazing. (..bodysoap)
